four chesnuts then off

Well, a lovely evening last night with Tich Frier as guest. He did two highly entertaining spots, to a not so full folk club, but what can you expect in the holiday season. Those who were there really enjoyed themselves.
We all managed a song a piece to keep the evening flowing. I sang Bay of Biscay, which was a new one to me, learned from the singing of Norma Waterson. Its another night visiting song...does this say anything about me!!!
well, packing today 'cos we're off to Cuba tomorrow....so will have some more news of music on the other side of the Atlantic on my return.
