Anne Winter's Regular Appearances

I have recently started heading to Gosport on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month where a small, but select group of people collect at the King's Head for some folk music.

Most Tuesday evenings are spent in the company of the folk at the Four Chesnuts in Chichester. We have a weekly singaround, with guests usually once a month. A great evening.

I have also been to the Black Horse at Amberley for another folk night on a Tuesday.

The Willows in Arundel is the best venue for a Wednesday, although once a month Hambledon run a good club in the village hall.

The biggest clash night is Friday. Choose from these: Fo'c'sle in Southampton; the City Folk at the Regnum club in Chichester; Folk on the Coast in Bognor Regis and B.B.s at Forest Gate.

I also manage the occasional visit to the Limes at Catisfield on the first Saturday of the month.

Then on Sunday a choice again: Woodies at Clapham village hall fortnightly; the Royal Oak at Langstone once a month and Woolston and Bursledon weekly.
